These are names I have taken from the (Southern Clark County) & the (Centennial History) books the later one concentrates on the northern townships.  These were put together for our Countries Bi-Cenntenial in 1976. These books contain many short stories and some photo's of the earlier settlers. Also of the townships of Merton, Foxton, Richland, Hague, Lake, Pleasant, Rosdale, Collins, Washington (Berlin), and North Spirit Lake, Warren, Spring Valley, Cottonwood, Ash, Darlington, Woodland, Thorp, Maydell, Eden, Elrod, Day, Raymond, Mt. Pleasant, Fordham, Lincoln, Logan  and the towns of Clark, Bradley, Garden City, Raymond, Crocker, Elrod, Naples, Carpenter, Vienna, Melham, and Willow Lake.  The job those people did at putting these books together can only be described as (Excellent).  There are well over 5000 names from the Southern one and 4000 from the Northern Clark Co.
