Sgt. Duane Lester stationed with the army of occupation in
southern Germany, recently sent his wife at Reliance a box of souvenirs.
Included in the collection were bayonets, coins, parachutes, perfumes,
cap, belt, flag and a banner 16 feet long. Sgt. Lester was held a
prisoner for 20 hours during the month of April. A brother, Cpl.
Clinton, is also in Germany and the two have met several times.
