His remains were sent home to Missouri from "Decota Territory" via "Sue City."Any information regarding this incident, or suggestions on how to track it down would be greatly appreciated.

Glen Smith Wed March 17, 1999 I'm looking for information on Ernest Lewis SMITH who born pril 20, 1894 or 95 in Buffalo Center, Winnebago County, Iowa. He was married in Yankton or Yankton County before coming to Rapid City and remarried. I have been told that he had a daughter from this first marriage. His father was Daniel Lewis Smith and his mother was Addie May SIMPSON.

He was married to MINNIE MARIE SADENWASSER [ SODENWASSER] c.1892 but I don't know in what state. They had several children born in Yankton, SD before they moved to Oregon about 1915. ELMER b. 1895, GEORGE b. 1898, ADA b. 1903, HARVEY b. 1906, LUCILE b. 1911. MINNIE immigrated into the US from Germany with herdfamily in 1883. It is unknown if they came as a family to Yankton.

I have information that says a Solomon Lewis Spink died in Yankton on Sept 22, 1881 and is buried in City Cemetery.
